I was just comparing the map in the Lone Wolf rulebook, and the one from Flight of the Dark. Has anyone else noticed that the Kai Monastery has moved? In Flight of the Dark, and all of the gamebooks, the Monastery is between the River Tor and the River Unoram. In the rpg Rulebook, it is above...

I'd like to know how he feels to see Lone Wolf brought back in such a major way with the release of the rpg. And would he ever consider writing the Lone Wolf story as a series of novels, sort of a re-write of the Legends of Lone Wolf, without the lesser characters, and making Lone Wolf into...

From August's posts regarding the development of the game, Mr. Dever was a very strong part of the development of the game, and had final say over the whole book. I'm not sure where the posts are exactly, but the Mongoose guys are pretty frequent posters, so I'm sure he'll be along to back me...

Good points. Though I wouldn't go so far as to say that most ships have to rely just on archers. There's always catapults and ballistae. Launching the better part of a whole tree at the enemy is going to make an impression!

As far as I can recall, there's a mention that the people of Magnamund have mastered canons, based on Borese guns, but not as advanced, so canon would most likely be the standard ship-board weapon.

Well, you were right, it is a little too powerful. I'd get rid of the abilities that also belong to the Shadaki Buccaneer. Evasion isn't so bad, except it takes away a little from the Buccaneer if a fighter has it. There's no way a class called "Heroic Fighter" should have sneak attack...

Okay, this might seem like an odd question, but how well have people converted the Lone Wolf rpg to other systems? Just to get things clear, I have the core book, and I'm pretty much planning on buying every supplement that is released for it, regardless. But I do have some issues with d20...

I didn't like the whole "half a million each of kraan and giaks" mentioned by Zagarna. There was no way such a force could ever be repelled by any nation in Magnamund. Then there was Alyss thinking about how she could kill "a million or so giaks" but apparently it wouldn't make a difference...
