The new images clearly show that the final products are several standard below than what was intended. Whether you find it acceptable is up to you. For me, I would possibly buy the rule book and wait for later waves.

Dear Matt, It did not come to my mind initially. When I heard about your plan for WWII Evo, one company name came to my mind. That is Corgi. That company already has a whole range of 1:50 tank, vehicles and infantry and possibly has no problem in making smaller scales or near future weapons...

My suggestion is to stay with what other people are playing in your FLGS. In mine, no one plays SST while there is an very active sentinel for AT-43. So, the choice is obivous to me.
