Show me where. None in these pages are compatible to other forums for military defense and most of the people in this forum are not knowledgable about defense technology anyway. Having a BF scenario to destroy a missile site has little to do wheather Chinese has the technology to destroy an...
Interesting topic but I do not see how it is related to BF:EVO. For those who is really interested in Chinese military technology and the politics behind it, please visit the forums at http://www.sinodefence.com
If people want to make a comparison of the models, then they should look at some of the marklet leaders such as Corgi, not Mage Knights or Mechwarrior from Wizkids. That company has decades of experience. A set of 6 hand-painted metal figures at 1/50 scale sells for $25. A tank for the same...
Shouldn't it be better if Mongoose just puts out the rules only and let the players to use whatever figures they have? WW2 Evo will definitely go well with Corgi.
The new images clearly show that the final products are several standard below than what was intended. Whether you find it acceptable is up to you. For me, I would possibly buy the rule book and wait for later waves.
Dear Matt,
It did not come to my mind initially. When I heard about your plan for WWII Evo, one company name came to my mind. That is Corgi. That company already has a whole range of 1:50 tank, vehicles and infantry and possibly has no problem in making smaller scales or near future weapons...
I hope you realize how wrong you are. Words came directly from Matt's mouth. I am not too far off on the scale as well. Let's see how the players will accept the new BF models first.
I do wish that Mongoose would put out SST-EVO first rather then BF. After all, the basic ground work and player base are there and you have a good set of rules. The company should not have problems releasing SST-EVO before AT-43. It makes a difference from the marketing point of view before not...
My suggestion is to stay with what other people are playing in your FLGS. In mine, no one plays SST while there is an very active sentinel for AT-43. So, the choice is obivous to me.
That should be the actual name for yourself. Obviously, you give your opinion about AT-43 but I hardly call it a comparison. You may have seen the Operation Demacole box but I doubt very much that you own the set. Nevermind taking a closer look and try to make a fair comparison.
You say that...
SST has all its rules out while AT-43 is still waiting for its advanced booklet. What a sophisticated person you are.
I am totally disagree with you. More awesome figures from AT-43 are on their way. You still have to be careful about your assembled SST figures. You don't believe me? Mail your...
It is always amused me how many will look down at these prepainted figures and yet very few of these same people can even bring out a whole army (~40 figures) to show off. Moreover, when you actually present them with actual bare metal figures, they often shy away and say that they are still...
I don't know whether this question has answered or not. I did a quick search but did not find the answer. In the pictures, it seems that the tanks are relatively smaller compared to infantry. Are the two in the same scale? Thanks.
