    Elric of Melnibone contents?

Google's translator seems to have done a bit better:

    What's the hubub about, bub?

Well, I wouldn't say it was "editioning us to death". SB1 - 2 was basically an errata update and reprint, and they were 4 years apart (1981/1985). SB3 was pretty much a Europe only version put out by GW that combined the corebook and the Companion into one hardback (1987). This would most...

Usually sunny San Diego, CA, US. As it states in my "Location" field. -V

    What's the hubub about, bub?

Not to nitpick, but Stormbringer 4th preceded Elric! by a few years. I think you meant Elric!/Stormbringer 5th. And, many find that Elric! is much better organized and cleaner than SB5. There were also some minor tweaks done... -V

    Theleb K'aarna and Yishana

The ancestor was Iuntric X, who was Terhali's father (an unnamed demon was her mother, and apparently she had a brother named Sactric who appears in one of the Corum tales with her). -V

    Demon Time Limit

So far I got an indirect reply from John Davey, who co-edited the White Wolf omnibus editions. He asked Mike about the fact that in the original editions of King of Swords, the spelling was Yrkoon. To the best of his recollection, he asked if the alternate spelling was intentional, to...

    Demon Time Limit

Actually, I am second guessing myself as to timeline issues. In the Elric saga, Elric first encounters Corum before Yyrkoon is slain. In this meeting (Agak and Gagak), Corum recognizes Elric from before (Voilodion Ghagnasdiak). In the Corum saga, the summoning occurs just before the Voilodion...

    Demon Time Limit

Well, I may have been wrong. It appears the summoning occurs before the second meeting of Elric and Corum in the Corum timeline (which means after the first meeting in the Elric timeline). This is, as you intimate, the timelines are linear between events. But that is, again, up to the...

    Demon Time Limit

Perhaps. But, as Yyrkoon mentions in the Elric saga, there is a trade off for power, and part of that trade off is losing some of your soul to Chaos. He may be using "human" to relate to Ertil the cost/risk of continually making pacts. I'll have to check, but I believe this exchange occurs...

    Demon Time Limit

Yyrkoon is summoned by the Nhadragh sorceror Ertil at Earl Glandeth's behest at the end of Book One, Chapter Four, in King of Swords. -V

I'll see if I can hunt up the reference. But I do believe Mike made this point very clear a few times. -V

    Demon Time Limit

The "demon" on Urish's throne was not Arioch originally, but a demon summoned by Theleb K'aarna. Arioch replaced it at some point. Also, it bears noting that "demons" are really denizens of the Multiverse. In Corum, a Nhadragh sorceror summons a "demon" who turns out to be Prince Yyrkoon. -V
