What if you aim and shoot at short distance?
Do you get: +1 for aiming, and +1 for attack with laser sight in short distance, and +1 for aiming with laser sight?
It looks like you can make a jump with no Astrogation and no Engineer. You get -3 for skill, but you can take +2 for time. And the jump task has 4+ difficulty for both Astrogation and Engineer. And those check are chained, so failing one is not a big issue.
And additionally a real misjump is on...
In most cases, it is only stated what check is necessary and how long it takes for the operation to be successful. But what if the check fails? Should I tell the player to roll again? How to put it into the story?
