One MI in a power suit looks like another. I would be more apt though to buy another box of veterans than I would the Roughnecks box. I like the sculpts better. As long as they are clearly labeled and easy to distinguish I wouldn't care.
Heck if my opponent wanted to bring 1000 wooden nickels...
went and picked up three boxes today hehe oops..
then thursday is supposed to be my arachnid army book and box of mantis bugs. yeesh no wonder I am broke hehe
See now there is not enough choices....
If I am playing my bugs my favorite platoon is a dead plattoon. If I am playing my MI my favorite plattoon is whichever one kills more bugs :)
before I bought my M8s I was thinking of useing some of the MW:DA minis as well. for CHAS bots I use a cut down Tau Crisis suit.
I like the look of the mini here but the blue is a little loud:)
I didn't vote. I don't mind the yellow visors. I put some on and leave some off. THe yellow can still be tinted somewhat although not as easy as clear ones could hehe. So I am on the fence :) I vote for BOTH!
Using some converted figures I have all of them. But I do own at least a smattering of each force available. I have two large armies in bugs/MI and a small skinny force.
just make sure you apply the rules across the board. meaning you would also need to establish rules for bugs to do the same thing or the game become quickly unbalanced.
personally I ride the fence on the realism/balance issue. Somethings you put in for realism do in fact upset the balance. And this rule that WolfGod and I have come up with may do that. And if it does we will not use it. But it does bear some playtesting. I wouldn't mind seeing what Matt's...
