Never ending rants on what is and isn't broken perhaps?
Constant revisions and calls for thereof?
Cannot think why anyone would get disenchanted at all
Are you miffed per chance? Thought I'd quote it for you just in case anyone missed :)
Great painting, my Shadows look rather bland (well black) in comparison
One of the several strange coincidences in ItB - Ganya and Sheridan served on the same ship; Sheridan, Franklin and G'Kar all met during the war, and even Delenn for that matter. Of course we had Londo and Kosh involved as well. Amazing!
I think the only bit complicated-to-the-point-of-irritating in B5W was the thrust assignment, if you wanted to plot a route over the next couple of turns, having a Mentat with you would have helped!!! This though I think made some people condemn the whole system.
fwiw: people I've played both...
Well I voted for B5W because I think it has the better feel BUT ACTA is good and they both fulfill a niche.
In fact I think I'd like something in the middle. Some more detail than ACTA, but not to the extent of B5W.
And I thought I'd gleaned all I could from that site - time for some revision
Curious then as to why Sheridan bothers to inquire as to the sensors used. If he knows EA don't have anything capable (and given his interest in "black" projects, he might know somehting of such a ground...
Different flavour = good
Second that.
The beuaty of the dogfight is less rolls (no dodges) and can give fighters a different feel i.e. some more capable as interceptors, others as anti-ship. You'd lose that with this.
I think Vorlons and Shadows need to come across as powerful as they do in...
I though the line was "we were never able to break". My take on the conversation is the same as Chern's. The implication that EA has improved technology that can cope better. Based on screen evidence still wouldn't want to take on a Sharlin!
Ah  Surely that depends on the players, how picky are your opponents about range, etc.?
Thats one way to overload the defences. If there are more targets than defence network (surely defence grid ties in better with the show?) shots, then let the ship captain choose.
And the point...
Well, using the ACTA default of stem to stem was the thought. GRanted there will still be user-opponent "deliberation" on which one is closest, but that sadly is the nature of wargames and tape measures.
Perhaps but I'm not trying to nullify the potential of the longer range weapons, nor make them completely oblivous to close-in defence fire. Assigning dice by proximity just seems like an easier way to apply it. No user deliberation in "which one shall I assign this last dice to?" as well!
