Thanks for your reply! Very interesting. I'll see what I can do about that. My world setting is a late medieval Italy with fairy elements. Not really "low-fantasy" but surely "dark fantasy". If you read "Pinocchio", for example, (the original novel by Collodi, not the sugarly Disney's version)...

Well, I'm quite new to DW. And I never heard of Lands of Legend before. Usually I settled my adventures and campaigns in my own world. I am italian, and my world is greatly inspired by italian landscape, traditions, legends, superstitions, folklore and so on. Now I see there is a land in the...

Probably this is a stupid question...

...I can't find the starting equipment in the DW corebook. On pg.22 it is said that the starting equipment is listed separately for each profession... but I can't see it. Am I blind? Thanks for help! :D

Ordo Draconis #2 and future of DW

Thank you for this note, LBH! :D But I'm tired about RQ by now, and I'm very excited about DW! I will wait to see what Mongoose did with this new RQII, and, if it will be worth of, perhaps I'll buy it. So far, I'm much more interested in the awesome charm of DW.

Ordo Draconis #2 and future of DW

Hi! Thanks for your reply! I understand what do you mean about the tactical side of some modern rpgs. I gamesmastered Mongoose RuneQuest for about 2 years and I'm now terribly bored about its fighting rules. I was looking for something easy to grasp and with a good rythm of play. DW seems what I...

Prince of Darkness due November 2009

Good... I want to buy this as well, so let us know your impressions, please! When you say that you didn't noticed any changes in the adventures are you saying so 'cause you're comparing PoD with the previous edition? (I ask this 'cause I'm new to DW and I never read the previous books).

Ordo Draconis #2 and future of DW

Same here Cursed. I hate to see rpg loosing their appeal on new generations. I am 37 yo and I began to play when I was 14 with D&D. I never played DW before... I just got my copy and I'm planning to start a campaign in few months (after my current AD&D campaign is over). I loved ORDO DRACONIS...

    Thanks for republishing Dragon Warriors!

Jon, you're not only a great artist, but also a very kind person! I love how you share your time and art with us! I didn't know you before DW, but I've to say you have an unique style and that your moody works helped me a lot to grasps DW's atmosphear. Thank you very much! P.S. those works are...

    Thanks for republishing Dragon Warriors!

I would like to AGREE with CursedEarthPizza! :D (what a nickname! I'm italian, and I'm intrigued by a pizza with such a name!) Like him, I'm totally new to DW as well. I heard of it here on the Mongoose website and Forum. At first I wasn't interested in it. I was playing RuneQuest and I wasn't...

Dragon Warriors fanzine ORDO DRACONIS #1 now available--free

Awesome! It's GREAT to know that DW will be supported that way! I read almost all the à #1 issue and I think it's amazing. Ordo Draconis is well done, well written and made, and there are a lot of interesting and useful infos and stuff. Art is very good too (Jon Hogdson RULEZ) and the genera...
