Right now I'd have to say its a toss up between the Mars or the Gettysburg. They are absolutely unusable!! But that opinion may change if we ever get Rules for them. :roll:

In these tough times following a rocky launch I'm sure Mongoose isn't getting much praise. But I would like to say a big thank you. I received a wolverine class ship with a wrong hull last Thursday. And today less than a week later I received the replacement part. Now I've been one of the ones...

Thanks all for the response. I sent Mongoose an email shortly after the original posting and they quickly replied that a replacement was being sent.

After further comparison to my other ships it seems that I received a strike cruiser hull. Is this the hull that is supposed to come with the wolverine?

I picked up a new wolverine fast cruiser, and the nacelle stems do not fit into the hull. The stem is too big for the hole by a lot. Also, the saucer doesn't fit properly in the hull either. Has anyone else had this problem?

I know Mongoose has been trying to catch up on fleet boxes still. But are individual blisters that are no longer listed as pre-order shipping yet? I ordered two blisters of ships over a month ago now and still no confirmation on shipping...

Do suicide shuttles detonate on contact with the base or with the post of the target ship? I would assume post but I just want to make sure. With the short distance of shuttle movement, it seems like the shuttle would have to do a lot of chasing to catch a ship.

The short answer yes it was possible in TOS... You can view the details of the episode "The Doomsday Machine" here in which Kirk steered a Federation vessel on a suicide run.

So they can't ram because of travelling at warp speed, but they can transwarp beam marines to another ship moving at warp? :shock:

That does make sense, since we were unable to achieve enough damage in either game to make any ship go critical mass per the chart on page 8. But if you keep piling it on then I would guess that if the destroyed ship has valid systems to defend with that they would still defend against torps...
