At the beginning of the episode "Severed Dreams" for one. When the rebel ships are escaping to B5, on The Alexander, Bill says to Major Ryan that if they bring in their fighters, they'll use their screen and you can actually see them being used to intercept pulse cannon fire.

I apologise if this has been asked before but I have had a beer or two to celebrate my new job after 6 months on the dole. Is there any rule where a player can use his Starfuries as Interceptors?

Noob Question. Am I right in assuming that the second edition will be replacing the current revised edition and sky full of stars? It's just that I have only recently bought the basic set and don't want to splash out on more stuff if it's all going to be outdated soon :)

I'm looking at geting my first couple of box sets at the end of the month. What has surprised me is the price range. I have seen the fleets on sale for between £46 - £60! I admit I will have some redundancy money but what about people who are on a tight budget? Anybody else seen them for cheaper?

I had always been lead to believe that the reason Galactica has the "frames" appearance is that she had a lot of her armour plating taken off for her decommisioning. I may be wrong though :?

I think maybe a Torchwood RPG would offer a lot more scope than a Dr Who RPG. Personally, I thought the last series of Dr Who was pants compared to the first one. Nothing wrong with David Tennant, I just thought some of the storylines were appalling.

I don't have a copy of ACTA yet but reading your BSG rules have made me want to get one! Come the end of February (when I get my redundancy money), I'm buying it! Does anybody know where in the Gloucester/Cheltenham area I can get a copy? Or is it best to get it mail order?

I agree, Zenith would make an excellent setting/game. Sorry to mention another company's game but have you looked at Mutants and Masterminds? It's currently on its 2nd edition and is a top-notch game with an excellent character generation system.

I think this would have great potential for an RPG. Witha bit of work, the SD world could be just as lfull and varied as Dredds world. Also, I'd love to see how the rules would cope with mutation generation :twisted:
