Ah, The HG Shuttle on p 154 has the airlock listed, yet the same ship in the CB2024 p 226 , removes the airlock, and the airfins and fuel scoop for some reason, but the cargo seems to account for it.

I see what you mean. I think it means on deck plans you get at add 1 free airlock, no tonnage, per 100T, but you MUST add one, to the plans, for free, every 500T. Yet the rules are different for fighters or small ships with cockpits, they do not need airlocks... by my understanding.

Yeah, I just assumed common sense would imply it as not a necessity, my presumption. Sorry. Fair point.

For my money, I am going to go with the HG rule of one free every 100T, but don't forget, you NEED one every 500T, yet you have 5 free by then...

I noticed this conversation on a few forums, but here's the thing. In the High Guard book it states you get a freebie, every 100 Tons (HG. p25). Yet the all singing, all dancing updated, new spangled rules in the 2024 Updated Rulebook state, you get a freebie every 500 Tons (CB2024 p152). Given...

To re-re-reiterate, small spacecraft are still pertinent. Especially to new Captains who need space.

If it gives you 3 extra tons to fit in a med bed or some cargo, due to published discrepancy, I would say that matters. It did to the player who owned the erroneous ship, I can safely claim. She even did a happy dance.

Interesting, the Survey Point roll of 1D6 is a bit arbitrary, but I like the system of gathering points for each 'interesting' item of discovery and pricing a total using them.

While I appreciate the effort you put in to this post, I am not confident my players would commit to such responsibility. They just want to take the money and run for the most part. ;-)
