    Hyperborean Witchmen: which Marvel issues?

From what I can find: The Witch of the Mists was published in Fantastic magazine in Aug 1972, then included in the Conan of Aquilonia collection in 1977 It was adapted to the comics in King Conan #1 (March 1980) *** Legions of the Dead was published in...

Ian Sturrock: two pastiche ideas in CONAN core rules

 Oops! My mistake. I got de Montour and La Loup mixed up. For some reason I've always mixed those two up. I guess I've always got that same dark, gothic feeling when I read the de Montour stories that I get from the Solomon Kane tales.

Ian Sturrock: two pastiche ideas in CONAN core rules

I'll throw out a couple of ideas: Werewolves - I remember Conan battling werehyenas and Solomon Kane fighting werewolves, but not Conan against a werewolf. Zath - I don't know if REH ever named the Zamorian spider-god ( this is pretty picky, but I always thought the name was kind of lame)...

    Howards stories as adventures

I've always thought that many of the Solomon Kane stories would make great adventures, especially Wings in the Night, The Hills of the Dead, The Children of Asshur, and The Moon of Skulls. Negari, the city in The Moon of Skulls, is the last surviving colony of Atlantis and thus should have...

    "The Hyborian Age" essay

Here is a link to The Hyborian Age - Part I (up until the time of Conan) http://www.cswnet.com/~dbruce/conan/cnbook01/cn01005.html The site also has some marginally useful stuff concerning the Ace/Lancer Conan series.

    Otah the Lizard God

Thanks Vincent. I don't think I read that one. I'll have to see if I can find it somewhere.

    Otah the Lizard God

I don't need a description - just an idea where to find a little more backround information. I haven't been able to find any references to Otah although I'm sure they are out there somewhere.

    Otah the Lizard God

What story did Otah, the Lizard God (Beyond the Thunder River) and his hidden city appear in? Is this the same city Jon Storm's Son discovered?

    Primitive Weapons and Picts

Thanks for the input Vincent. I wondered if the Survival skill would cover it since weapons would be paramount to surviving in the Pictish Wilderness. I imagine this would only apply to characters born and raised in a primitive culture. One other question: Both the Blowpipe and Bola are...

    Primitive Weapons and Picts

Someday I hope to start up a Pictish campaign and have been writing down some ideas and house rules. Unfortunately, since I am rather inexperienced with the d20 system, every time I look for an answer it seems to lead to two more questions. I was hoping someone here could help me out with...
