hi all,
some of you may know we have been asked to do a gaz66 truck in 20mm scale, after doing some research i have noticed that the gaz66 and unimog u1300 has almost exactly the same wheelbase, and this also matches the white metal cmp 30cwt chassis i already do, so my proposal is to use this chassis and master a gaz cab, body, as well as a unimog cab,body, and using new wheels we could get both of these vehicles done, not only quicker but also a bit better models, it would mean more parts, but nothing too much.
the only down side is that the gaz and cmp chassis has leaf springs and the unimog has coils, so the model wont be that accurate.
