The basic yacht in Traveller is pretty measly compared to some of the more expensive boats on the ocean today. It seems to me to be more like an average 40ft Chris Craft power boat than an actual yacht.

Now THIS one is a bit off the charts... would be interesting to see a Traveller equivalent.

This would be a case where you figure out what facilities and accommodations you want, and apply the engineering formulas.

It's meant to be an off the shelf design, not some nobles custom over the top design.
