X-com Evolution

I know that there are delays in the Evolution system that are being ironed out as i type this. Matt has also said that once they were on track everything would be running much more smoothly, and they would be able to use the evolution system to make games from medieval combat to far in future sci-fi. Once all this has been accomplished (and I will wait patiently for it) would it be possible to do a X-com line. The whole story of aliens trying to take over the world and Top Secret branched of the worlds government trying to stop them sounds awesome. I think it would even attract people that aren't fans of the great game (Although I can't believe there is anyone who doesn't like the game.)

You'd need to add a campaign element, as well as a morale system.
I think an XCOM game would be better suited to follow closer to its source, move figures individually, have action points (though you can simplify the mechanic) and so on.

Hi all its Alan calling, i started work on X-com evo, but wanted to work on Evo Horror rules first, but saying that, i have added traits for weapons, people, and added a fear/terror test for all those monsters out there....

Its more of a single fig, then squad based system, traits to flesh out the single figs, and has a great feel.

Same Evo rules, just fleshed out...

I have done soon and fast zombies, now working on vampires and were wolfs..

After that its on to "mars attack,Aliens, and Greys "

so its a flesh out system for all...

A more Advanced Evo i have, has a Added shooting skill, and moral tests when suppression dice are against you, simple, but now you have combat training and morale to evo....

Private me for a word file or too.... its easy to add the X-com ideas to what i have done...

Forgot to say i have just painted up 20 mega vistor figs, and just need a ufo for my x-com type games...!!!!
