Wolf Damage?

David538

Mongoose
I thought that I had written in all of the errata for my new RQII rulebook, but tonight, I flipped to the Wolf entry in the beastiary. 1D80 damage? 1D30 damage? What is this? And not a single thread about it anywhere? What's the deal?

Am I missing something?

I just opened the RQI rulebook and simply wrote in 1D8 and 1D6 respectively.

Why is the wolf's damage printed as 1D80 and 1D30?

Because it's 1D8 and 1D3. Obvious typo or printing error.

What?

That's not right?

Has anyone here ever been attacked by a wolf?

Well, me neither, but I bet it feels like 1d80 plus 1d30.

Especially psychologically.

Mongoose are releasing the D80 die in a special Wolf Skin case. D30s can be obtained reasonably easily.

I just bought a D30....no reason to other than the fact I wanted one

I also got a D2, D5, D16 and D24 as well as a compass direction die... now I just need a game that uses them all.

Alright, I get it. XD

I just wanted to check in, because I saw that most of the RQI stat blocks were pretty close to the RQII blocks, but the wolf did 1d8/1d6 in RQI. And I was in a pretty bad mood last night, so I apologize for that.

Thanks for your help! I just figured there would have been a correction in the errata.

No problem. Hey, just think how the RQ wolf feels. There he was, thinking, '1D80 damage? Fantastic. My next meal's a tyrannosaur...' and now he's thinking '1D8? Really? Bugger. Back to hunting people, then.'

There just ain't no justice. Save for tyrannosaurs, which can now rest easier.
