I've been slogging through these for a while - those in the Thayer system and the late war carriers are based on colour photos I've managed to dig up, as are the carrier deck markings. The rest I've just stuck with good old grey. 1/3000 isn't exactly condusive to detail
Still got all my cruisers, destroyers and subs to go.

Independence, Ranger, Lexington, Wasp, Essex, Yorktown and Midway

Lexington and Saratoga as they would've been before conversion, and the Alaska and Guam

Iowa, Missouri, Alabama, South Dakota, Indiana, Washington, Nevada, California, Maryland and Texas

At least they're quick to paint - cruisers now done.

Des Moines, New Orleans and Minneapolis, Worcester and Roanoke, Pensacola and Salt Lake City, Indianapolis and Portland, Atlanta and San Diego, Philadelphia and Brooklyn

Nice paint jobs for such tiny models. Although some of those battleships seem to vanish into their bases... :wink:

It's almost as if they're camouflaged!
