Will the 2nd Ed Core Traveller rulebook appear in a compact softback?

Will the 2nd Ed Core Traveller rulebook appear in a compact softback like the previous edition? If so, when should I start budgetting for it?

Bottom line is that if they do it in that format, they can't just reprint the book smaller as they did last time, they'll have to reformat it entirely to fit (and make it readable). I'm not saying they won't do it - they did it well with Legend - but I doubt it's a priority right now.

Well...

There won't be a single 'pocket' softback release.

However, we have just started work on the Traveller Starter Box Set, which will include the rules in three small softbacks (and a brand new campaign set in a previously unexplored part of the OTU...).

Ooh..can I just ask how big is the box going to be then? LBB sized, as in the original Traveller box or Traveller Deluxe sized?

Will there be airspace to fit in other books and stuff (dice etc)?

Still working on some of the details, but the books will be around the size of the original LBBs.
