why waiting till march for new stuff

Mongoose
on the new releases their is a large gap between shem and the next release ie nothing for the first 2 months of the year at least  I was hoping more for a release every month not every 3 thats only 4 releases a year

and too put it in perspective their are 6 releases for runequest in those two mothes alone so 1 a month shouldnt be such a problem guys :D

I am somewhat disappointed that the 'Goose has been putting alot more enthusiasm into the release of the RQ line, much more so than Conan. Keep in mind that Vincent has been worked hard over the last year or two and needs to get away from the computer/typewriter/ink-and-parchment. Besides, Chris Quilliams is probably also a little weary of painting buff guys in kilts.

The initial release schedule for Conan was very heavy, as was Babylon 5. After a few years the releases for most games slow down. Also compare that to Lone Wolf which has only had four books, ever.

Beside Mongoose have said they have renewed the Conan licence for another four years, so you'll be getting plenty of stuff.

toothill man - what do you know that we don't? :D

What is the next product that is going to come out in March '07? I know Matt said a bestiary and a campaign were coming in 2007 but I don't think we know when. All I can tell is that Shem is in December '06 - but after that there isn't anything so far. That could mean some products are coming in Jan. or Feb. '07. Matt said he will be doing his State of the Industry and Mongoose Plans post sometime in December (it can be found in the General Discussion Forums). Sounds like we will hear some info about Conan then.

Anyways, if you heard some specifics - please share! 8)

Well, I just started to collect the Conan books and the gap will give me time to catch up without tearing a large whole in my bank account. I do like new books but I did start to wonder when the well may run dry do to the limited amount of Conan stories that do exist.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid ( wait a sec!)

*SShhh!*
By dead of night, we'll have to send in some Black Ops units into Mongoose HQ to find out! I call dibs on the filing cabinets, and desk drawers.

This is logical because Runequest isn't only a new game (with Glorantha) but also another gaming system.
