Why bother with clubs at all?

This has me confused -

Look at the rules and clubs and knives cost the smae yet a club is worse. It's identical to the knife baring the fact a knife has -1 AP where as the club has zero.

Should there be an extra feature for the club like parry to balance this out?

Agreed - I wonder if a club should have the 'Smasher' special rule?

Nothing else seems to use the rule, and it fits for clubs. I'm tending to think you're right, Rick.
