Who is the Author of the Spinward Marches Book?

I noticed that no author is listed for the Spinward Marches book.

I THOUGHT it was Martin J. Dougherty

Any chance the author's name can get added to the advert for the product?

Now than name isn't on the image of the book (neither is the Mongoose Publishing logo or anything else for that matter). I had thought that was a design choice....

I must admit I only looked at the image of the book.

What I noticed was that all the other books had the author listed with the image, but not this one.

At least it is listed under the details.

I just looked at all the Traveller book cover images and none list an author. Maybe it is a design call or the images are just the artwork.

Well, I just checked again and it how lists M. J. Dougherty as the author, so thanks to whomever at Mongoose that fixed that!

Pretty much. I find that being able to pay my mortgage is of more immediate interest than being able to say I've written loads of books....

The thing about working with Mongoose is that they actually pay freelancers... ie Mongoose behaves like an actual business working with professionals. Far too many games firms don't do that; I've lost track of the number of games companies that have not paid me for work or have scotched the project without a kill fee after I've put time in.

These days I only work with Mongoose (and my own Avenger, of course).
