Who is coming to the open day?

I'm planning on dropping a phone call over the pond sometime to say hi to everyone, especially Miss Christian. :)

But alas, airfare is too expensive for me to attend in person. :(

Good gaming to all of you, and I hope it goes off without a hitch!

Of course I'll be there, anyone else who's showing up please check out my BReakfast Club thread.

Sorry to hear Katadder and Triggy won't be there. Puts a kybosh on an Admirals Smackdown

I think you'll find I wasn't "killed", I "sacrificed" myself so that our side could come out victorious :P

Anyway Steve, if we're going to have a battle, the real chance was the S&P battle report, but I'm always willing to extend the offer again if you wish...

I know Triggy got replaced, but he was our admiral for the majority of the campaign, and since he was 'removed from the chain of command' he would likely be the one most wanting a rematch, since Greg led our side to victory (Even if he did look like Ivor the ENgine's driver in that hat  ).

I'll be along. My associates have already been doing reconnaissance of the sector.

Shame you can't see Mongoose (it's just off to picture right), though you can see the cafe.
Now that's interesting, and it's a good job I posted that picture then.

Because both Multimap and Google Maps put postcode SN2 8AF as just opposite and north from the junction of Cricklade Road and Whiteman Street. That would put it close to the light blue building about half way up and three quarters to the right in that recce photo. Which means, if I hadn't posted this, I'd be looking for Mongoose in the wrong place on the day.

So, following your directions in the Breakfast Club thread over in the B5 RPG forum:

Mongoose's entry is in a small side alley on the right of that road, directly opposite a Somerfield.
I'd guess that the Somerfield is the building with the light grey roof which is just visible on the right hand edge of the photo.

Yeah, in an alley opposite the luight grey roof. Mongoose Towers doesn't have a unique postcode... hopefully fixed for Mongoose Towers 2.0 ;)

Open fire!

You can see the door here, if you look between the protesters. This is looking down the alley from the minor road (ie. not from Somerfield direction).
