Seriously though it is a worry, ships that have been statted and teased with previews and were the main reason for a new supplement still haven't been released while we see yet more new ships :?

If I remember right, the 'Cult of Personalities' raider character was a Hurr - who let you refit a ship and fighter wing with non-weak ballistic weapons.


And the ability to 'pak my gunship' (hurr, hurr, hurr....sorry....) could be good.

Is it just me or does it strike anyone else that they must have some pretty damn good engine technology or some kind of fancy hyperspace knowledge if theyre from a neighbouring GALAXY.

The Hurr come from a world on the edge of Drazi space called Androma, subtely different, and missing two letters... (also not quite so far away...)

I would figure that they are being integrated into 2nd ed. I would hope so anyhow.

Like the idea of the hurr gunship, I thinkthe model is pretty good too. Plus if you can include a league fleet plus there is a Pak version too makes it even better. I remember the original Pak Ship from 1st ed that was all alone "race" wise but still had a counter, so was viable.

As for the Drakh mothership, I must admite even I'm starting to get a bit pissed off here at the torrent of new releases when theres still existing products were still waiting on and I don't even WANT any of the products in question, Im just mildly annoyed that this whole thing is going to lose players from the game and hurt Mongooses reputation.

Don't get me wrong, I like new ships and most of the new releases recently I actually like and even intend to buy some of (especially the new ISA stuff, but I fail to see why the devoloment and production time for say, the Hurr or the EA Myrmidon, or the Corumai couldnt have been given over to finishing the Drakh mothership first? Or the other Armageddon ships?

Its baffling, annoying and disappointing.

In this case I believe it's because Mongoose wanted to remake the Carrier and Mothership using their 3D computer software technology and as such will take a little time but be very nice when they're done. Unless I'm mistaken, they were started before all of the other designs and have just taken a while. The only option Mongoose would have had would be to hold back all of the other new stuff then bombard us with it all at the same time!

I think the hurr where mention in one other Episode when Dr. Franklin was making his Enclopedia medica that the Hurr are a dying races because they kill a second race one theire Planet.

No, you're probably making reference to the Hyach who wiped out the Hyach-do.

fluffwise the Hurr only have 2 ship types anyway, so the gunship is probably all you will get.

On that subject, (this is a rhetorical question) why is it we are getting units for piddly League races like the the Hurr and the Gaim, but the Hyach still have not received a single ship?
