White Star Gun Ship?

I agree with Animus. 1 AD on the WS beam is rough. I almost never hit with just one. I also agree that the gunship needs a reworking. I can't see myself buying one with the way it looks now. I'd use a counter before the model at this point.

LordClinto, I was saying that there are not enough choices, not that they have no ships. I should have said that the whole list is a little sparse. I would like to have more than one choice. It is very difficult to build a list for a patrol priority mission.

Every battle tends to be scads of Whitestars and a Carrier. Some fleets find one or two ships that work well against them and I have no option to change my fleet up to compensate.

It would be good to see some variety in the ISA list while still keeping close to the tech levels of the ISA.
 
Of course with the ISA you can always use a point to get ships from a different faction, like EA, Narn, League, etc. to mix it up a bit and try something different than just white stars.

I don't mind the gunship model, but the stats are quite lacking at the moment. If anyone who is doing the playtesting on ISA for 2e right now sees this, note my addition to the voices clamoring for a useful gunship. And the extra AD on the regular white star. :)

I tend to find that the chances of hitting with the 1 AD Beam on the first rooll increase greatly when you CAF. Every time I CAF a roll a 4 or more on the first roll, every time I don't, a 1 or a 2. GAAAAAAHHH!!

I play pure ISA fleets, no allies for me, too much like having to make sensible styrategic fleet choices, and I'd need to break out new counters :lol:

Oh I know they will, but until it comes out, or I crank up the Great MAchine to open the time rift, I'm stuck with what I've got :lol:
