Where To Place My Pocket Empires?

I have a few pocket empires with a long and detailed history I need to place.
The developing area takes up 2 quadrants but might expand to an entire sector.

The two major players are:

The Kzan Empire
Part of the lost Aslan Hfuah clan that miss-jumped into the sector.
The smarter males, through cunning, eventually turned the tables on their female captors, enslaved them and use them only as breeding stock.
Over many generations, they breed them into semi-sentient animals.
They now call themselves The Kzan.
Slaves from other races and Kzan males unfit for battle called akyasiya (The Kzan word roughly equivalent to 'faggot') handle the technical tasks once occupied by females.

The Terrelian Empire
Started by a pre-Maghiz Darrian exploratory/colony ship that crash landed on a world inhabited by a post-industrial warlike nomadic race called the Gorm.
Eventually having to leave their ship in search of supplies, most are eventually captured and enslaved over a period of decades.
Fast forward about a few hundred years and a remote uncaptured settlement of the Darrians develop chemical and biological weapons.
These weapons plus a well planned and timed rebellion exterminate the Gorm from the face of the planet.
After many centuries they become a starfairing race inhabiting a dozen or so worlds.
They eventually meet the Kzan and after a long an protracted war are enslaved (not again!) by them.
Several centuries later they liberated most of their worlds in a rebellion that was over a century in planning.
They made themselves invaluable to the Kzan with their technical skills so they had agents throughout the Kzan Empire.
They bred armies in secret on all of the Darrian worlds.
Their spies prevaricated electronic communication between Kzan clans while computer viruses created an economic collapse.
This sparked several simultaneous inter-clan civil wars.
Some of the other enslaved races in the heart of the Kzan Empire began rebelling.
The Darrian worlds were in the frontier of the Kzan empire and wasn't heavily garrisoned due to the overwhelming docility of the Darrian slaves.
When large parts of the of the Kzan military left to reinforce their clans back home, they struck, liberating all but 2 of their worlds.
The liberated worlds formed the core of the Terellian Empire.
They immediately began upgrading the planetary defenses and started building a navy.
By the time the smoke cleared in the Kzan Empire it was heavily balkinized among clan lines.
They were too disunited to form a serious threat by the time the Terellians developed a strong defensive navy.
Fast forward a few centuries and the Terelian Empire is a tight federation of Darrian-Human (gamma humans) , Solomani-Human (alpha humans), Sauron (reptilian master geneticists), and repatriated Kzan (with females re-bread to sentience thanks to the Sauron)

So where do I place these two quadrants or complete sector?

I don't want to place it in Foreven since the Zhodani have a presence their and there are also several adventures that take place in that area.

If you don't want to displace anything existing you could place it somewhere outside of mapped space.

You could potentially shoe-horn this into The Beyond sector. It has some pocket empires already, but you could easily swap them out for your gaming. That way you could justify how the Darrians got there, and if you needed to somehow get your PC's from the Imperium there is a way.

There is a stable wormhole leading from this sector to the Spinward Marches.
I haven't decided if it is naturally occurring or something Grandfather left behind.

The Terellians have been subtly manipulating some of the politics in the Spinward Marches for decades.

They do this by way of a secret society, comprised of honorable women with high social status or power, that assists honorable individuals rise to power and prominence. Aside from getting as many competent and honorable people into positions of power, they don't meddle in the other affairs of the Imperium. Good people in the right positions, a win-win for both. They figure the rest will take care of itself.

They are in the process of establishing an FTL communications node to the Spinward Marches to better communicate with their agents.

Don't want to have the Kzan and the Aslan in the same backyard.

Fulani? Far, far away yet still in the backyard and barely touched by anyone.

Looks good so far.
Most of the worlds don't even have UWP's.
Have to check out the Izrats Kriezhlas Unity that is in one of the coreward subsectors.

Aaaand this isn't a problem with the various humans?

In this case it would create many problems:
1. They are a banished clan.
2. They have drifted genetically from the Aslan (Claws but no dew-claw).
3. They would either joint the Hierate or be crushed by it.
4. The Terellians would not be fighting a pocket empire, but the entire Hierate. Sure they can beat them now, but not then.
5. It would require bending or breaking a lot of canon, and I prefer not to do that.

Just looking at the stats of all the worlds in the Fulani sector. Now I have ideas! Definitely great for a wilderness setting far from other civilizations yet within 3I. Has anyone done anything 'official' with the sector or is this purposely Referee home game territory?

Nothing official, but some bits and pieces, mine the most developed, afaik. But that is what drew me to it as well, years ago, it was so undeveloped.

The Fulani are a west African people, it would be interesting to work that angle in there also.
