I was going to pre-order from mongoose but it says only as a last resort on the order page if you cant get it elsewhere :?

I imagine stores will start doing pre-orders when they know the book is about to hit the supply chain. This means customers are insulated against disappointment caused by any possible delay.
As Mongoose will be printing it I imagine they are fairly sure when it will come out.
