Where to buy in US?

All of my local stores have closed, Amazon is only listing it as available from one of their "affiliated merchants", and I'm not having a lot of luck finding another source on the web. Anybody have a source with decent prices and service?

Check out the Time Machine in Manchester, CT. They don't do mail orders but you can call in and pick one up.

Its right by where you live in CT, and on Thursday and Sunday nights its where the gaming club goes to play. I was running someone through generating a character on Sunday.

Thanks! We actually used to have two stores in West Hartford, and another up near my office in Springfield, and all have closed over the last couple years. I just called Time Machine, and they're hoping to have books tomorrow.

The gaming club there tends to be very light on RPGs (miniatures and board games being the norm) but if you're ever over there on a Thursday night you'll find a great group of players downstairs (and on sunday the guy I ran through chargen was bugging one of the others to start up a Traveller game...).

Does anyone happen to know what happened to the Traveller listing over at Amazon?

About a month ago I got a "Just for you" email listing Mongoose Traveller but now when I visit it's only being listed by 3rd parties.

Judging from other statements made by Mongoose, Amazon is in a weird place at the moment: "trade" shops are getting the book right now, but the large book chains won't get it for another few weeks. So, Amazon can list the "affiliated sellers" that have it, so it's technically available, but Amazon themselves don't have it and won't for a while.

And Alex - thanks for the tip on Time Machine. I was able to get the single copy they got this week held for me.

They actually got two and sold them both. Some of the regular gamers had some 'words' with the buyer yesterday evening when they turned up to the game night and discovered the few he got were sold the same day they arrived

I got mine at Zombie Planet in Albany, NY. Nice people there. Great stock of games. Time to change the table felt, tho.

I know you already have your copy, but Noble Knight Games and FRP Games both are carrying Traveller, and are online shops.
