When is the next Traveller day at Mongoos Hall?

We have been talking to BITS recently about setting dates, but everyone is a bit busy at the moment.

On the other hand, we really just need some more GMs to make it work, so if there are any volunteers. . .

Always happy to GM, depends on when and my health. I live in Bath UK and more than a couple of hours travel is difulcult. Also anyone near me must be germ free as I have a defective immune system.

Anybody know the price of a ticket from Seattle, WA to Britain? :P

Oh about the same as it would be from here I imagine (South of you). All we need is to get Mongoose Publishing to cover expenses if we volunteer to GM.

Didn't find one into Swindon but round trip Seattle, WA - Bristol, UK and London, UK - Seattle, WA for the way back, with taxes and fees cheapest $838. (Might find cheaper was just a quick search with random dates).

Depends on if you want to fly direct, if you go via mini-hope-less then it is much cheaper, same is true if you want to go via holland... ba is cheaper if you book at least 90 days in adavance...

i do this trip way too often!

Wouldn't be any such thing as direct to the UK (or any international destination for me). Tends to vary a bit about cheaper if booking in advance on airlines, can end up being more at times I've noticed.

Damn, as a BITS ref and a MI and only living a mere 15 miles or so from Swindon, I guess I'd have to hold my hand up for reffing. :D

All I ask in return is a shopping trolley, the warehouse keys and a 5-min head start

Well, we might actually be getting somewhere :)

If GMs are willing to run two sessions (one afternoon, one evening), then we may only need 3, maybe 4 (and I think Mongoose may be able to stump up for one GM too).

So. . . If we said, maybe, May 1st or 2nd? Who would be up for it? If you fancy GMing on either of those two days (the Saturday, the 1st is probably best), drop me a line at msprange@mongoosepublishing.com, and we'll see if we can set it up!

I could make the 1st or the 2nd :)

.....Teh Hivorz might be able to Ref a game or two, depends on what the Federation Council (i.e. my wife!) has planned, as the 1st is part of the Bank Holiday weekend....

Hi guys,

We'll make an official announcement in a day or so as we are just tying some bits and pieces together, but pencil in May 1st for Traveller Day :)

Hi guys,

Just to let you know, Traveller Day is confirmed for May 1st, doors opening at 9:30, and we'll play through to 17:00, or thereabouts.

We are just arranging the games for you, but I think there will be some crackers in there. More news as it comes!

Ahh, my first early morning commute from the new house to Swindon, we'll see how it goes.

Tell me about it. I have to drive from Frome, Somerset to get there. I just hope there's no hold-up on the M4.
