What the heck is going on.

I just ordered Squadron box #11: Gorn Reinforcement and got Squadron box #11: Gorn Attack Force.

When did mongoose change it and why?

The reason I bought it was for the base and the armed transport. And instead I get 5 Gorn ships I didn't need.

Now I have to go through all the trouble of returning something I didn't want.

And now the release schedule is changed to Squadron box #8: Gorn Reinforcement and Squadron box 11 is no where to be found.

I have been watching and waiting for the new Squadron boxes and when I finality think I am getting one Mongoose switches the product with out telling anyone.

I don't know if I can take much more of this and still want to support the game.

That is weird. FRPgames is showing the picture of the box with the base and APT, and the picture shows "Gorn Reinforcements" but the description says 5 Gorn ships and the title is Gorn Attack Force. What the heck?

Mongoose's own website now lists the Gorn Reinforcements as Squadron box 8.

I would be VERY irritated too, if they shipped me a different product from what was previously shown.

ADB's webstore shows the following for Starline 2400 miniatures (and the contents of hte ST2500 packs are supposedto match the ST2400 packs):
Squadron Box 8: Gorn Reinforcements: Gorn dreadnought. Gorn battlecruiser. Gorn destroyer. Mobile Base. Armed Priority Transport.

Squadron Box 11: Gorn Attack Force: Heavy Battlecruiser, Medium Cruiser, Strike Cruiser, Heavy Destroyer, and Battle Destroyer

I ordered it from FRP and they have agreed to refund my money and pay for the shipping. But I don't hold FRP completely to blame. I just check and FRP have fixed the site. I'm sure they were working off the information they got from Mongoose. Because i could have swore mongooses site had the Squadron-Box-#11-Gorn Reinforcements listed on there site as in production. Now it's Squadron-Box-#8-Gorn Reinforcements.

It's just the excitement of getting the package in the mail only to open it and it's not what your ordered, And then you realize it's something manufacturer did and you are not going to get what you ordered anytime in the near future.

Philosophically? When we are all dead and gone. Confusion and errors seem to be part of the human condition.

We're working to build better communications so that this sort of thing doesn't happen. When you add in a third party retailer, then things can get more difficult. We are still striving to make things better.
