Cool!
A conversion? :D

Nope. Straight out the box from MILITARY WHEELS plastic models.

THIS are conversions:

GEPARD AA and ROLAND SAM

Alright, so in 1/72 you can find the Abrams, Challenger, Warrior, Humvee, and Tunguska and LAV-AD (if you're lucky!), as well as various US and British fighter aircraft. As for infantry you can find German troops, British and American troops (outdated equipment), and with some deep searching maybe some generic rebel types. Can you find the following? (part snarky, part honest question)

US Troops w/ Land Warrior gear
Shadows
Talon/SWORD
MV-22 or CV-22 Osprey (I've found a prototype and an ASW prototype)
Predator UAV
J-12 Fighter
WZ-10
Type 99
Zulqifar
Desert Iris
Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle
NORINCO FAV
Chinese Troops
Mirsad-1

There is no "multitude" of near-future models in any scale. I really don't understand where this misconception came from.

Yeah if anyone can find ALL those things on the list above I'd be willing to give you all my minis.

Seriously, only MP provided us with such minis.

Just so you guys know I have been on the "quest for the LAV-AD and its been next to impossible to find one of the correct scale. First off, its impossible to find the ACE kit. Second, I have the Armo LAV-AD kit and it is waaaay to small next to MGP minis or other 1/72 minis like the FOV stuff.

Have you considered the Armo LAV-AD, just taking the AD and putting onto the Lav-L still available from ACE?
What about the Kitech lav-ad 1/48?
Its true, lots of vehicles currently unavailable. So i suggest Proxying.
I'm gonna use the PLA tank for a Zulfigar, just paint it desert camo.
I know that won't satisfy the hobbyers, but what can u do?

What's your issue of not getting the model(s)?

They sell in the USA.

Most likely its out of stock. I have run into this a lot. I will inquire to make sure. Thank you.
