What is your favourite Gloranthan creature and why?

I think Broos are a great Gloranthan creature. I think they kind of epitomise the fact that RQ is an 'adult' rolegame compared with the zillion vanilla rolegames for kids out there. I like Thanatar's heads too... not really 'a creature' though.

oh, and my favorite creature is the Newtling. How those guys survive in a world like Glorantha, where their tails are a delicacy, makes them my faves.

I didn't realize what the Op meant was 'what is your favorite Gloranthan creature to eat'. That changes things.

I definately take back my earlier vote for Scorpion Men. I agree about the Newtlings, and while I never could see putting Ducks on a list of my favorite Gloranthan creatures they are quite good crispy Kralorelean style with orange sauce.

For the Vegetarians out there Runners are definately better than Elves.

True. They're excellent for those on a diet, since the calories used/calories consumed ratio is so high.
