What is the "holy symbol" of Ymir? I'm hoping someone creative can extrapolate some kind of symbol. I have limited references.

Thanks in advance,

Jay

A tankard of ale.

To quote from the Road of Kings:

..for Ymir is worshiped by doing battle all day, then eating, drinking and singing all night. Indeed even those activities have religious merit, for ale is the drink of bold Ymir and, as such, it is sacred and consumed in large quantities. It is said amongst the Nordheimer that it is possible to come into direct contact with Ymir if one drank one's self unconscious.

i would guess probably either a sword or axe.

A tankard of ale.

more likely a drinking horn than a tankard.

thats a pretty cool looking viking symbol called the "ægishjálmr" or "helm of awe" check out this page for some more info on it http://www.vikinganswerlady.com/aegishjalmr.shtml

it looks kind of like a snow flake and would be a reasonable symbol for the king of the frost giants i think.
