Wrong. It'll be either "Do you agree with me?" or "Are you a threat to me?" The two main reasons for wars.

hmm i'd say wars always come down to these two things myself.. Money & Religion aka Greed and Power.

Actually, the 3rd volume of the JMS scripts has a nice discussion on the questions. And I think our question will be 'Do you want fries with that?'.

I think folks have kinda lost the context of my original post somewhat now in favour of more comedic response..

<stamps feet>

You people just can't be serious :p

I was serious for the first part of my post. JMS does have a nice discussion of those questions in the book mentioned. The questions asked are questions we must all ask of ourselves, regardless of species.

I was kind of assuming we were going to ask the questions already presented, but was more curious as to what people thought our contribution questionwise would be to the list. As we see in B5 all the older races had a question so by the time humanity has evolved to the point where they are starting to head out beyond the rim and leaving the known galaxy to the new younger races..what would the question be we left behind to add to those we already have?

Well Neo I think people on here were trying to be serious at start, then they remembered who they were and off the thread went. Honestly I don't even know if Humankind would try to be like the Vorlons and Shadows when they evolved to that level after seeing the records of what happened.

So for this thread the important question is: "You were expecting something different?"

Can anyone really see the majority of Humanity agreeing on a veiwpoint as the Shadows/Vorlons do.

They're more likely to have an attitude ( That's your viewpoint) than a question.

Of course, that lreads to a question " So what's the current argument and am I involved?"

Which by our current day organisation and relations as a species stand would be true, but we are speaking about a time in the far future when humanity has evolved and grown to the point where we are ready to leave for the outer rim. As seen in the show the humanity that goes to the outer rim are seemingly rangers of a sort..so that organisation at least will still be around.

But the question is mostly hypothetical, I was just curious about what kinds of questions people thought we would leave behind that would embody who and what we were..a simple question ot sum up a species, what drove us and defined us.

In all seriousness...

Humans are insanely curious.
Maybe the question is "What's out there?" or "What is your secret?"

At our best, humans are kind and generous.
Maybe the question is "How can I help?"

Humans are determined and willful. They choose sides, and in this are often divided against themselves.
Maybe the question is "Where do you stand?"

(I happen to like the last one best.)
