Or how about the Automatic Campaigns from the Campaign guide? Since it was slated to be towards the end of the year I was hoping to have seen some info about it, by now. - http://blog.mongoosepublishing.co.uk/index.php?blog=2&title=traveller_campaign_guide_and_new_books&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1
I've tried it a couple of times and it worked well for me. Still needs a certain amount of imaginative input but good encounter tables (which are found in Mongoose products!) help enormously
A book like this could be the push I need to actually buy Traveler. I bought a bunch of RQ/Elric/Hawkmoon books and I refuse to upgrade to RQII until find a group to use the first books with. So I suspect that will be around the time MRQ 5 comes out I've wanted to get into Traveler, but am hesitating for the same reason: its a big investment for books that just end up being reading material. Of course part of that is scheduling. I've only been able to get together with my PnP game group about 3 times over the last four years (working retail sucks).
So yeah, Solo adventures and preferably a system where you can generate your own solo adventures would make the investment worth it.
Most of the talk around the automatic campaign system has been mostly for lazy DMs or DMs with lack of time. Can anyone confirm it is still up to snuff for solo play? Will definitely get it if it is.
Zhodani and the Campaign Guide have, unfortunately, hit some delays and will likely be appearing in April now - but they will certainly be worth waiting for! We will update the site as soon as we have a firm date

The campaign guide which im hoping still has the rules for "automatic" / solo play was listed on the website and has since disappeared. The thread on supplement 9 in the traveler forum seems to indicate its delayed but cant find any official word on it.Having not heard much about the automatic rules since the blog post last march, I very much hope they still are going to be in the book when it releases.
The other solo books mentioned in conjunction to the living traveler campaign also had my interest but I have stopped holding my breath.
