Wellington & B-17

I was looking at the stats of airplanes in burgers ships viewer.

I noticed that in one of them the Wellington damage rating was 4+. Not being familiar with the Wellington was it more indestructible than a B-17 which a damage rating of 3+.

It used a geodetic frame structure wih fabric skin that meant it was somewhat famous for taking punishment and still getting home.

No plane was ever indestructible but the Wellington probably came as close as any ever did though B-17s were also famed for their ability to take punishment and survive, surprising even the engineers who had designed them.
