Web Site Alert!

Okay, chaps, we have been busy behind the scenes, and it looks like things have stabilised a bit.

More resources have been dedicated to the site and so it should be running a bit faster, and the various little gremlins that sprang up overnight should now be resolved.

Can anyone see any other major issues before announce the new site to the world?

Can't see anything major other than the loss of S&P. Any chance they can be made available again? Too much useful stuff in there for it to be lost.

Biggest thing I see is the lack of a news page. The latest news box does not have a link to an overall news page. Same for latest and upcoming products. The link at the top of the forum to "latest news" is broken because of it.

News and Products will have their own pages soon enough, but you can see all the latest info now.

Will fix forum link now.

Looks very nice! Much more modern.

But can the forum font be put back to the same size it was? This smaller one is hurting my poor tired eyes :)

Well as of 5 mins ago none of the links on the website I tried were working, and I sorelymiss the monthly view of releases, makes it easiert to plan my accounts.

S&P will make a return, just want to make sure the basics are sorted first.

As soon as I am happy that everything else on the site is running properly, that will return.

International ordering works for the us version of the site, but not the uk version.

Problems I mentioned [other than a niggle about pre-ordering] appear to be fixed for the us version of the site, but not the uk version.

I'm sure it'll be an easy fix tho.

Great to see the fixes done promptly.

The british version of the site is still broken, and useless for non-brits.

Is it a design decision that only brits can use the brit version of the site?
If so, please make it exceptionally obvious on the site, otherwise its a waste of time.

The american version has been work for a few days now, whats the hold up?

You would think it were easy, wouldn't you? :)

I swear, we are working on this right now as a priority, and hoping it will be fixed tomorrow. We will be getting into contact with everyone who has mailed us about this, letting you know when it is fixed.

Hi LBH,

We've had a look at the site in a number of different browsers and have managed to replicate this problem once. Clearing the browser cache seemed to solve the problem; can you try that and let me know if you have any success viewing the rest of the site?

Just to let everyone know, those outside of the UK should now be able to access the UK site properly (apologies for that).

If you encounter any problems like this again, please let me know immediatly at msprange@mongoosepublishing.com
