Wayfarers = December, Wayfarer = Legend

Excellent. Like the name. Like the concept. Like the 'openness'.

Bring. It. On.

Please, though ensure clarifications, tweaks and so on are in the vein of Deleriads post. And for God's sake use the forums as a guide as to what needs tweaking and what doesn't!

Right on! This is all very optimistic for my favourite game line. "Legend" works really well. Thanks to all involved for the positive direction this is heading in. How is it going for Age of Treason?

Other than trying to keep up with the name changes to the system - which of course means going back in to the files and making edits - we are still on track, subject to the 'goose, for August release. But not in the new smaller format.

This is awesome news. I'm glad to see the RQII game system survive - it's simply too good to fade away. It looks like the only core RQII books that won't be released under the new Legend brand will be Necromatic Arts and Empires (although I suspect that the title Empires of Legend will be too awesome for Mongoose to resist forever). It's sad to see Necromantic Arts go from the product line - despite some clumsy execution the book contains some great ideas. Personally, I would love to see a new book that covers the topics such as Necromancy and Demonology properly - perhaps it could be called Legends of Darkness or something?

Thanks Simulacrum. Afe of Treason is much anticipated 'round here.

I am very happy with this announcement. I can't find anything I don't like about it.

Like the new naming system better, and am looking forward to having the rules separate from the Glorantha setting. Bring on Vikings and Samurai!

Legend is much better. It has fewer syllables and is closer to the front of the alphabet.
