WaW: Night fighting and air units

Should air units use the same rules as land units in the night fighting Advanced rule? The rulebook does not seem to make a distinction with air units in the night fighting rules. I'm no aicraft pilot but I'm sure dropping a bomb on a target or dogfighting must be hard if possible at all. I know some German Fighter-Bombers were equipped with Radar and Night fighting devices made especially for this purpose. If the same rule applies to air units, then the dropping of ordnance is not affected by darkness wich seems illogical to me. Is there any ''official'' rule for this?

Yes!

Remember that all Target and Kill scores get the Night Fight bonus!
So there is an effect!
