Wargamers - Uber Table Survey

I've really gota get some of that H2O stuff I'm sick of painting polystyrine :D

What I really would have like to of seen would be a modular city scape board, with streets and rooftops and signs and freeways and all the like, but storing that would be impossible...

A really good idea someone I know was floating out there was an inflatable board. Sounds absolutly moronic at first (he only really suggested it to take the piss) but if you think about it it'd allow you to have huge buildings, volcanoes, etc without the bother of trying to store it all! I've seen something simmilar for kids, like a dinosaur playset or something which wasn't eactly great, but if mongoose is going the prepainted model route then simply by colouring the stuff in the same palate as the miniatures and choosing a matt rather than gloss finish they could really tie it into the rest of the range and help suspend disbelief.
Probably not an ideal solution, but you gotta admit theres nobody out there making anything remotly simmilar fo the hobby market!

Hmm, just as long as they never see the old '70's film called "Airplane". Remember the autopilot??? Well, at least Mongoose could get supplemental funding from Goodyear  (OK, I'll stop. I just couldn't resist, Max)...

With a bit more of a straight face (sorry again, Max), I'll say that I'm working up quite a series of methods to create urban structures, with some ideas I've just come up with and no I've never seen these done except for using foam core art-board. I am totally running out of room, btw  . It looks like the comments on Mongoose's terrain board are slowing down a trifle here.

Now, would you be interested in purchasing such a table for yourself?

Me? No. I like terrain making too much. Sorry. However if that would be reasonably priced I can easily see it gaining some popularity among those who cannot do terrain(or don't have time).

Nice terrain board though. That would be quite a nice pre-done board to get. When I was starting wargaming such a board sure would have been nice.

Thanks LT! That's 2 boys for me and I'm done!

Congrats. Though don't count on being done. My mother thought she was done after me and my sister but 19.5 years later from my birth along came my little brother

Makes me feel old looking 19.5 year younger little brother playing around. Bummer.
