WANTED - EA AVENGER

Hi all,

Well, me EA fleet is coming together nicely and thanks to the lads at Kettering, I've even been able to get a game in

The one ship that I cant seem to pin down and get is an EA Avenger Heavy Carrier so I'm hoping that some kind sole on here might have one they can and are willing to part with?

Condition doesn't really matter as I'm likely to strip the paint off of it anyhows and get it painted to fit into my fleet - just as long as it's whole. Whether it has a stand doesn't matter either as I'm using FA style stands for all of the capital ships that I have.

If anybody has one going, either PM me or post in here please.

If you can't find a model of the Avenger, it should be relatively easy to scratch-build from plastic card, or even a cereal packet. The top and bottom are basically long, thin triangles with the front tips cut off. The sides are rectangles. Cut out front and back panels to fit, then add small pieces of card for surface detail.

I may have one here in a couple weeks. One of our members recently passed away (you may remember him from these forums as David, Anla-Shok) and I will be working to distribute some of his gaming stuff to good homes. Once I know what he had my plan is to post much of his B5 items here for sale first, then eBay whatever is left. I do know that he had extremely large fleets of all the big five and many of the other fleets as well. I will let you know when I have more information.

Ok, many thanks for the post on this guys. As an update, I'm close (I hope) to securing 2 Avengers from a member of these here forums at a very reasonable price - fingers crossed.

Adrian, nice idea mate and I'm sure some other gamers could make something out of it and I know some guys a pretty good at scratch building stuff. Unfortunately I'm not one of them and paper cut outs are not my style Thanx for the suggestion though.

Gary, thanks for that and the offer, I'll keep an eye out for anything you put up. To echo the others so far - condolences for your loss as well.

Omega, yeah, have bought quite a few things from the states now, although mostly from AOG. I have contacted that seller you posted but he does not ship outside the states. He has said he could make an exception but the price was a bit prohibitive as I recall.
