Vree Xonn! blueprints on show in Planet Mongoose!

Supposedly next up is the Drakh Mothership. Will Hiffano finally have relief? Or will darkness fill his soul?

The Vree are getting a lot more interesting. Any idea if this will be war or armageddon level? Since they already have a solid war choice in the form of the basestar, er, command saucer, it could be armageddon. That'd be some nasty amount of antimatter weapons...

Given that it is half the size of the Z'takk (ie same diameter but only one disc) it is a good bet it will be battle level.

what and where is planet mongoose? excuse the ignorance

Just click "blog" on top of this page.

I love the Xonn! It does look a little more "old school" than the other Vree ships (they always reminded me of the discs in Tron); more like a flying bunker, but it´s cool!

Put two of those on top on each other, and you have a great Vree starbase, too.

Battle, you say? I know the Nova "dreadnought" is only raid, but everone else's "dreadnoughts" are high level ships. Although, a battle choice would be more use than an armageddon choice...

I have to say that the vree do need a few more extra choices in higher battles. However i think it would be more useful as a battle than an armageddon.

I can see three Dreadnaughts: the Bin'tak, Mishakur and Nova. So 2 out of 3 are War-level. Of course we don't know what the Juyaca will be just yet.

(I do know what level they are at in the current 2e stats, but that can change).

A ship's name or class has no relevance to its PL. PL is an abstract construct made to balance the game, it is not a ship classification system.

good job really as destroyers usually arnt that big going by naval vessels but the Victory is one of the biggest in the show/game.

That's true, but broadly speaking, a ship's classification suggests a PL position: frigates and destroyers at patrol/skirmish (barring weird EA names), cruisers at raid, battlecruisers/heavy cruisers at battle and dreadnoughts at war/armageddon. That's pretty well borne out by the current PL of most ships in ACtA, I think.

Exactly... and the Sunhawk "Battlecruiser" wouldn't be much cop at Battle level.

Not really. We have Oracle, Sagittarius - both Cruisers - at Skirmish. Sleekbird Assault Cruiser, Eyehawk Scout Cruiser, Sunhawk Battlecruiser, all at Patrol.

At the other end, Victory, Warlock, Nemesis, Var'Nic Destroyers, Shantavi Frigate, G'Vrahn Fast Cruiser, Liati Advanced Cruiser... there are so many exceptions, I think the rule is broken ;)

And anyway that rule is based on present day system. Last time I checked B5 happens quite a lot in future . Would be kinda silly to assume there won't be any changes in system anyway...
