Vree & Super maneuverable question..

Mongoose
If a Vree ship moves "SM" in 1 turn, and then wants to move normal movement in turn 2, do you have to specify in turn 1 where the "front" is?

Yes, Vree ships are like every other ship in that they have a "front". The only thing that is different is that due to their SM moves you have great freedom in choosing which way your ship is pointing.

Yer you have to keep tracking of a Vree ships front not only for movement, but also for the potential loss of an arc...

But it is hard to track front without some help ^^.

Really? How do you determine the front of a Vree saucer other than arbitrarily?

Now that is the problem with these little buggers....... but being grey little men i guess they deserved it ^^.

Yer the ship models themselves have no method of determining a "front" has to be done by a human player. Damn aliens.

What i play Narn? And theyre aliens too? Dont listen to that propaganda. Narns are our best friends ^^.

I got a Vree fleet, so for xorrs all turrets are pointing forwards, for vaarls they have markings already on top to point out fore arcs and for xills, xakks and z'takks I paint a white strip in line with the stems to mark out the fore arc .

Looking forward to getting the xonn and the xeel plus the zorth fighters.

Vree fleets are full of antimatter goodness, as part of your antimatter Lifestyle. :D

I've always resisted the urge to buy a Vree fleet but with 2nd edn the urge is definitely growing...

Resistance is futile ;) Its a fun fleet, and a good one for teaching game basics to friends.. you don't have to worry about firing arcs and such.

You lads seen the Xonn Dreadnought model photos? That's a tasty flying saucer... :D

I did wonder if I should paint up a Vree fleet like wagon wheels and jammy dodgers....
