Is the February release of the Vorlon Transport a re-sculpt or what? I see they weren't on the Vorlon page, but they were included in the box set.

They are the FA casts, of the Vorlon transports.

Yeah, basically your old transports will now be Destroyers (since the difference between the models, are the petal positions)

Hurm... I don't know if I like this. I haven't built my Vorlon fleet yet. What would you recommend?

Their is nothing to prevent you using your existing Vorlon transports as.... Vorlon Transports. As long as your oponent knows, their really shouldn't be any issues.

Well Vorlons are good at higher levels, and the transports are a ok. But the AP weapons, are only good against low hull ships. High hulls, and they tend to annoy. So having your big ships, become transports aint a bad promotion.

In the last War Tourney, my 5 point War Fleet was; 1 HC, 1 LC, 4 Destroyers.

Hey, it means I'll have 12...my Vorlon fleet now stands at; 2 HC, 4 LC, 12 (originally 4) Destroyers, and 18 fighter stands

I converted both my transports into carriers (the playtest unofficial rules were on a thread here, I really dig them). Any others I may get my hands on, I'll put the 'wings' down flat and have more destroyers. Besides, most of my games don't involve defending my Vorlon shipping routes...

Not this year. However, we are considering (and only considering) a Dreadnought for the Vorlons. It won't be much larger than the current Heavy Cruiser but it will be a real bear in battle. Will it have carrier capability? No idea yet!

Oh now THAT is agravating. I just bought a fleet box and I always complained that they were too big.

2 weeks later they use the FA scale...

The fleet boxes will be updated, but not until much later this year. My advice? Buy now. . .
