Victory at Sea Documentary Series on DVD

Unfortunately this is mostly for CONUS types...

I bought the Victory at Sea series on DVD for $5.50 USD plus tax of course. the box says that it contains all 26 episodes, re-mastered on 3 disks.

You can find it in the $5.50 bin at the Walmart Electronics Dept.

If you are not careful, you can pay as much as $80.00 on the web for the same thing. I've been collecting them from my local Wal-Mart as well, with the following purpose. I'll be eventually making rule bundles of Mongoose's VaS, along with General Quarters 3 and maybe Battle Stations! Battle Stations! rules and if I sell a rules bundle, they get the DVD set too. For those that know they can go to Wal-Mart for $5 it's not a big deal, but still if they were going to buy the games any way, it's $5 they don't have to spend.

I grew up watching this series being shown on television, and it's a very good series. Indeed, the DVD set does have all 26 episodes that were made.

any cool computer simulations or anything like in your sig?(those are computerised right? They look computerised)

Nah, Hiromoon found those for me. I think they are indeed computer made, but are probably from a movie, maybe Flags of Our Fathers. That's why I thank Hiromoon for the "ammo" in the sig.

My Wallmart close by sells the volumes seperately for $1.00. :D

Yes, but 26 volumes @ $1 each or all-in-one for $5? Even if you only wanted a few episodes, it would still be worth the money. I consider it the very best way to spend $5. :D

Actually it is just five volumes with 26 episodes so buying them at a buck a pop still is only five dollars. The audio video quality is okay, so this is a real steal!

OK, then you get four extra DVD cases for free then, heh.
