Vassal & VAS

I keep reading about 'Vassal' on the ACTA forums and I understand its some method of playing ACTA versus somebody over the net?

Is there any more info anybody could share about what it is and how it works?

Is it available for VAS? Of so, where do I get it?

You should do a search in the ACTA forum for Vassal. Theres a how to start guide etc.

No. (not that i'm aware of).

Sure if its anything remotely like ACTA .
Basically Vassal itself is an online boardgame utility, it supplies the board,dice and online server.
Its upto the users to design the Mods for it.


I could be bribed into doing it :shock: :lol:
I've helped with the current ACTA mods for awhile.
I'd need a rulebook, lots of input from yourselfs, scans of all VAS counters and a no deadline attitude.
Rough estimate, would be 3-4 weeks.

have started one but its slightly more difficult because of the way the turns are done and the fire arcs.
turns should be easier though at least for fixed turns, its getting it so you can manual rotate and know how far is more difficult.
