VaS Campaign

Hi

for campaign game purposes, do you actually use the system as proposed in the VaS rulebook or do you use board games for the strategic part and VaS rules for the tactical part?

I don't use the VAS campaign system as, whilst it works OK for an SF setting I don't believe it bears any resemblance to a WW2 era naval campaign setting. I use bespoke campaign rules but these tend to follow the style set in the article on operational campaigns that I wrote for S&P (Issue 43)
