USMC Shadow RST-V Preview

Surely thats not a final production picture?
Blacked out windows seem strange somehow...
Other than that it does seem an accurate representation of an ugly vehicle though!

If the HMMWV is the Hummer or Hum-v what is the RSTV? Rest-V? Rascal?

Obviously Rest-V or RV for short. I wonder if they come with propane and sewer hookups standard? These guys are great, they really sealed the deal for me. USMC for me!

Blacked out windows may seem strange, but from a production point of view it makes sense. This way, they can simply cast the whole body as one piece and paint it up. If they did clear windows, it would add more to the production time and materials for the miniature and we wouldn't get three to a box. Personally, I am more than happy to take the trade off of black windows to get a bunch of them for a great price! :D

MEA Technicals, Fedayeen Squad, and the British Army Command Section & Warrior will all be up next week!

Ugh, its Wednesday and I'm dieing already. Are the new previews just about ready? I've got the shakes.

:D Good choice! I like to dig out a man o' war album when I've got lots of fantasy mini's needing a qu9ick paint job, that Agony and Ecstacy of Achiles concept album they did is one of the funniest things I've heard in my life.

@ Snowman I can appreciate its cheaper to have a one piece plastic model sprayed one colour with blacked out winows, but its the year 2006, adding an interior would have made it a 3 part kit at most (Well plus crew but they could be molded onto the interior) and given so many more options for conversions and the like.
Still vehicles are always a bit tricky to impress with, simply because the current era of Corgi/Matchbox etc are so damn good.
