Using Legend for SLA Industries

I'm toying with the idea of using Legend as the core system for a conversion of SLA Industries for an upcoming campaign.
Just so I don't waste my time too much, has anyone already done this?

I have not done it myself, in fact I had to google SLA Industries. Legend I feel has a lot of potential as a system for modern and near future gaming. My suggestion is that you use the Legend RPG for the base rules, and Use Basic Roleplaying to round out the Skills and Equipment that are lacking in Legend. Basic Roleplaying covers more genres and time periods than Legend, but is a little to freeform for my liking. Legend feels more like a complete RPG to me.

I threw together a list of Pulp professions with skill bonuses for Legend that can be easily adapted to modern and near future settings. All I am really lacking is a Techie profession, and the addition of the Computers Skill to several of the existing professions.

Good luck with your project!

I feel Legend could use some fleshing out in the area of missile combat for it to fit well in Scifi/modern settings - but there's Mercenary Breed that's in playtesting, isn't there? Looking forward to it really, got a few ideas where to use it.

It's been many a year since I GMed SLA, can't really remember anything about the rules, but I do remember the setting well and fondly. :P

Don't forget the free RQ6 Firearms supplement... it covers all that you need.
