US Army vs. USMC

Ok what's the deal.

We have USMC figures but no US Army troops.

We all know the USMC are Naval Infantry and never get the funding that they deserve (lowest paid of any US forces and the Navy decides what they get). They have always been a generation behind in weaponry, when the Army got the Abrams the USMC got an uograded M60 (ooooohhh)... When the army upgrade to heavies and superheavies the USMC upgraded to the M1A1 with 120mm gun..... Thier APC's have been lightly armoured because they are suppose to hit hte beaches not conduct a long deep penetration war...


Anyway....
Why are there no US Army troops, they have the higher tech and better training to deal with naughty people. The marines are assault and hold locations until the army arrives.

Why not have army figures with everything...at least they wear thier sleeves correctly. :lol:

Mongoose picked the Marines first because "everybody thinks the Marines are cool!"

Don't forget that the Marines usually go in first, so it kind of makes sense that way. It's also good that they waited because it will give us time to hopefully see some of the new technology being developed for the timeframe the game is set in. Don't worry, though, they do plan on releasing a US Army faction eventually.

Like Chiwie stated go to evocommand and download the US army list to get you started. IF you wait for MP, even if they get things straighten out before the years end, you will still have to wait till the end of 2008 for the US to appear, at the earliest from what I can tell.
