Uncle Ken comments on Glorantha

Thanks for the info and the link. I didn't know Ken worked on The Elder Scrolls. May be this is a reason for the success of the game.

After Sandy who worked on Doom, it seems many RQ designers have put their touch to influence computer RPG's.

It was a good article, wasn't it?

The 'system'of Morrowind always felt very runequest, as did the soul gems, since they were just storing crystals. Of course the big nod was The Puzzle Canal in Vivec.

I still think that Prax and the Zola Fel valley would make a perfect setting for a Gloranthan computer game using Elder Scrolls as the engine. You have three natural boundaries to the play area - the wastelands to the east, the Rozgali Sea to the south and the Rockwoods to the North.

I can dream, right?

At Gloranthancon several years ago, Ken gave several talks about his just-released Morrowind and how he really wished that there was a "Gloranthan" skin for the game.

There is nothing that prevents fans from creating a Gloranthan total conversion for Morrowind or Oblivion, like I did for Age of Wonders. It is just a matter of time and dedication.
