Ugliest Ship in ACTA?

I don't know what you guys were talking about... the Neroon ugly????? The things the best looking model I've seen, and personally I think the Morshin looks like a sack of puss..

With you there Nomad, Id def have prefered a trimaran curvy hull as opposed to a hammer head flat thing!!

I'd have to agree about the morshin, every time I see a picture of it I think "fat space guppy"

Most of the sex toy range of ships (liati, old style drak carier, Brikiri scout) just make me laugh when I see them.

The shadow hunter always was my number one ulgy ship. It just reminds me of a flying hair clip.

Disagree about the Cidikar, but then never saw the previous version your talking about. Think the flat hammer head look has a certain something. In fact the Brakiri were developing into a distinctive style with the newest ships, which I did like. HOwever I've yet to put the beast together and my opinion may change when I do.

Morshin - it's odd certainly, but ugly, noooooooooo. I'm sure I've seen a photo of the Morshin on screen, but can't place where from, any suggestions?

Troligan (old) - mine are badly painted, and still don't look too bad.

Troligan (new) - a better paint job and they do look respectable, although they do look a little different to the traditional Minbari ships.

Neshatan - another in the slightly odd Morshin/Troligan (old)/Torotha range of Minbari ships. Personally I like the low sleek look of the thing.

Nope, still really dislike the Morshin - ugly fat distorted vision of a Minbari ship through water  in a joke mirror.

Like the Neshatan though............. :)

Most have gotten a mention or two...

Brivioki - leave the big boom boxes back in the seventies please

Lakara - hate this boxy little thing... (and have to disagree with DaBoss on the bimith, one of my favorite hulls. Tiraca could have done with a better fin, and all abbai could have used very small turrets, but I love most.)

Fireraptor - prototype was ugly, but the resculpt is not bad...

See! :D

Few of the Mongoose designs do anything for me (IMO most don't fit in with the rest of their respective fleets, visually speaking), but the Brivoki is by far the worst, followed closely by the Liati, WS variants, Myrmidon, most of the Armageddon-level designs, and the other "new" Brakiri (Cidikar, Kobrokta, Corumai, and Shakara. Especially the Shakara).

3. This will be a controvercial one but: The Hyperion. I dont like them, I never have, theyre completely true to the show and are one of the iconic ships of B5 but Ive just never really liked their 'submarine' looks and they look really out of place ESPECIALLY in a crusade fleet (my general distaste for them has grown more pronounced now that the chornos has been downgraded forcing me to use them as the bulk of my fleet :()

I think it would have been best of AoG had designed some of the 'early era' ships to look like cousins to the Hyperion... it would have made the transition to the 'Omega Era' bricks and the 'armor plate' warlock eras look better. As is, the Hyperion (and variants) is kind of an isolated design cul-de-sac.

You're right. As contemporaries of the Hyperion, the Orestes, Artemis, Sagitarius etc dont really share design similarities other than the absence of rotating section. They share the blue on white painting scheme in MGP photos.

The Nova is actually older than the Hyperion. The design contrast was supposedly caused by the difference in producer. Omega and Nova are Rocketdyne designs, while Hyperion is Karmatech. The Hyperion would be a dead end design if Karmatech doen't win any more contracts.
